Community guidelines

A lot of people here are young. That shapes how this whole community runs. These are the expectations for everyone, including leaders.

How we treat each other

  • Treat people the way you'd want to be treated.
  • No harassment, hate, slurs, or targeting anyone.
  • Disagree without tearing people down. Questions about faith are welcome — including hard ones.
  • Don't pressure anyone about what they believe, and don't mock anyone for it.

Keeping it safe for younger members

  • Keep everything appropriate for the youngest person in the room.
  • No sexual content, and no sexual conversation with or about anyone under 18. Ever.
  • Adults should not be moving conversations with younger members into private messages elsewhere.
  • If someone asks you to stop, stop.

Protecting yourself

  • Don't share your real name, address, school, or phone number — not in your bio, not in chat.
  • Be careful about photos that show your face or where you live.
  • Nobody from CrossVerse will ever ask you for money, a password, or account access.
  • If an adult anywhere online makes you uncomfortable, tell a trusted adult offline.

If something goes wrong

  • Report it. There's a report button on messages, profiles and announcements.
  • You will not be in trouble for reporting something.
  • Moderators are people from this community, and every action they take is logged.
  • If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

This is not a legal document

The above describes how the community is expected to behave. A Terms of Service and a Privacy Policy are separate documents that need proper legal review before launch — particularly for a community with members under 18. They have not been written, and nothing has been invented to stand in for them.
